Teaching is my passion, but after nine years in education, I no longer liked the road I was walking on.  The pandemic was tough on everyone and truly changed the world of education.  Many teachers were tasked with mirroring instructor-led content in the classroom to the unknown virtual world. As challenging as it was, it planted a seed of change and new direction for me. 

If you asked my former students, parents, and colleagues to describe me, here is what you'd get:

As I've embarked on this career change journey, I've transferred the above traits to the world of eLearning Development and Instructional Design. Using adult learning principles, I collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to create learning-centered courses.   I bring the "fun" to the fundamentals of learning.
